Four more held over Estonian model's murder on Pulau Rawa

JOHOR BARU: Four more people, including a woman. have been arrested over the death of Estonian freelance model Regina Soosalu.
Johor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Hasnan Hassan said the four were arrested in Mersing after police found “good reason that the group would be able to assist with investigations”.
“The four aged between 24 and 27 were arrested on July 15,” he said.
“Those with information are urged to contact the Johor police hotline at 07-221 2999,” he said.
SAC Hasnan said there were now a total of six people still in police custody over the case.
Soosalu was found dead on Pulau Rawa, off Mersing here, on July 1.
The authorities initially believed she had drowned but the case was classified as murder after “suspicious wounds” were found on her.
It is learnt that toxicology tests and other tests are still being conducted on Soosalu’s body.
There has been no indication on when the body will be released to family members.
