KUALA LUMPUR: What was supposed to be a blissful honeymoon in Malaysia for newlyweds Jonathan Kemp and Alyson Jackson turned sour when Jonathan disappeared from their hotel in Bukit Bintang after a row between the two.
Alyson, 24, said Jonathan, 28, stormed out of the hotel after they had an argument at about 11pm on Friday.
She tried contacting him on his cellphone and Facebook, but to no avail.
According to Alyson Jonathan was hallucinating before leaving the hotel.
"He didn’t think he was in Kuala Lumpur. He thought he was back home in Maryport, England.
“I had to remind him where we were,” she added.
Alyson said that her husband had seen “people who were not there.”
He was last seen wearing black pants and a white shirt with purple stripes.
“He had short, dark hair and ginger-coloured stubble,” she added.
The couple had just arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday and were bound for Bali, Indonesia on Monday.
Alyson told The Star that they had been married for about a week.
Anyone with information on Jonathan's whereabouts can contact 03-2332-9888 (ext: 6907) or the Dang Wangi district police headquarters at 03-2600-2222.
