PETALING JAYA: A TV3 news presenter could only watch in shock as her husband was attacked and robbed by two assailants outside the couple's home in Kota Damansara Thursday night.
Buletin Utama presenter Azawate Zenol Abidin said she, her husband and their three children were about to leave their home around 8.45pm when her husband was ambushed.

"It was drizzling and my husband had just sent my two sons into the car. He got an umbrella and was coming back for me and my baby.
"Then, four men on two motorcycles appeared, and two men got off and went to my husband.
"It happened right before my eyes - the two men attacked him with a metal rod and punched him. The other two men were waiting on their motorcycles," she recalled.
In utter shock, Azawate said she could only scream for help but was ordered in by brother, who was in the house, to run back in to safety while he dialled the police.
She said the men who attacked her husband said they wanted money and warned him not to make any sudden moves or they would beat him further.
"My husband was only concerned with the safety of our two sons in the car. He was scared they were going to drive the car off with them inside, since the engine was already on.
"But he just handed over his wallet and the men sped off when the neighbours came out to the street," she said.
Azawate said she lodged a report at the Damansara police station and estimated that the men stole no more that RM100.
