200-kg fish causes a stir at the wet market
GEORGE TOWN: Heads turned at the Lebuh Cecil wet market when a giant 200-kilogramme Grouper fish was displayed for sale today.
Onlookers gathered in droves near the rear catch to marvel at the fish.
The fish with a length of 2.5 metres was caught in Kedah was brought to the market about 4pm yesterday.
It was snapped up by a seafood restaurant operator with a hefty price tag of RM11,000 when the trading started.
