MANILA: A light aircraft crashed in Pangasinan province, north of Manila on Sunday morning, killing the pilot and a student, Xinhua reported citing local media.
The training plane plunged and crashed in an open area in the city of Lingayen, killing both victims at the scene, according to local authorities quoted by several media outlets.
There have been no reports of other casualties so far. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has not issued any statement regarding the incident.
