HANGZHOU: The national men's hockey squad's desire to qualify for the semi-finals early was blocked by South Korea, after losing 3-4 in the fourth Group B match of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium here, today.
In a fierce clash that saw both teams exchange goals, the national squad coached by A. Arul Selvaraj, nicknamed 'Speedy Tigers', took the lead as early as the fifth minute through Mohamad Ashran Hamsani's finisher.
South Korea equalized after their star player Jang Jong Hyun, who has extensive experience playing in the local league scene with the Terengganu Hockey Team (THT), converted a penalty kick in the 11th minute.
Malaysia took the lead again when Faizal Saari calmly finished off a penalty corner in the 30th minute, but Shin Seokkyo's opposing team once again managed to equalize through Lee Nam Yong, two minutes into the third quarter.
The score was again tied at 3-3 in the short term, when Jang's penalty corner denied Muhammad Razie Abd Rahim's penalty kick that saw both goals scored in the 44th minute.
In the fourth quarter, Muhammad Razie missed a golden opportunity to put Malaysia back in front, after failing to complete a penalty kick before South Korea scored the winning goal through Yang Jihun's penalty five minutes before the final whistle.
This is Malaysia's first defeat in the group after beating Thailand 9-0, Oman (11-1) and Indonesia 9-2 before.
"There were some simple mistakes made such as in terms of concentration and what I want to remind the players is the sensitivity around the field. This is our weakness because our sensitivity is a bit sluggish.
"If we play with high sensitivity, the movement of the ball is good, but today, it is a little slow because we are not sensitive on the field," said Arul Selvaraj after the match while refusing to blame Muhammad Razie, after failing to complete the penalty hit.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Razie admitted to being disappointed with his failure and determined to rise in the must-win match against China, in the last action of the group next Monday (Oct 2).
"I take responsibility for not being able to score that last penalty and for today's result. I hope we will rise and do our best for the last action," said the 26-year-old.
Three teams currently share nine points, namely Malaysia, South Korea and China, but Arul Selvaraj's men are still leading for now with the difference in goals.
KSM senior official corruption case: MACC awaits DPP decision

Azam said, his side is still waiting for further decisions from the TPR
KAJANG: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has submitted an investigation paper to the Deputy Public Prosecutor (TPR) in the case of bribery in the recruitment of foreign workers involving a senior official of the Minister of Human Resources, V Sivakumar.
However, MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Azam Baki said, his side is still waiting for a further decision from the TPR.
"The case has been submitted to the TPR and we are still waiting for their decision.
"We have completed the investigation in the last two months and we are still waiting for the TPR," he told reporters after the MACC Shooting Program with the Media at the Malaysian Prison College Target Range here on Saturday.
Last May, the media reported that Sivakumar confirmed that five of his officers who were investigated by the MACC had their contracts terminated.
Sivakumar reportedly said that the dismissal of five of his officers was done to ensure that the ministry could function smoothly.
Last April, the MACC arrested two senior officers of Sivakumar in connection with a corruption issue in a foreign recruitment agency
Man Arrested and Charged in Tupac Shakur Murder Case in Surprise Breakthrough
Las Vegas police apprehended Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis months after executing a search warrant on his wife’s home

Tupac Shakur aka 2Pac
A man connected to Tupac Shakur’s death has been arrested and charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon, marking an unlikely breakthrough in a case that has vexed investigators since the rap icon was shot dead on the Las Vegas Strip in 1996.
Nevada police detained Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis today (September 29), and a grand jury indicted him in the killing of Shakur, The Associated Press reports. Davis, who has long been known to investigators, has admitted in interviews and in his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, that he was in the Cadillac with Shakur’s shooter. He is now the first person to be arrested in direct connection with the killing.
In court today, a prosecutor announced that Davis was also charged with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang.
Davis’ arrest and indictment follow the execution of a search warrant in Henderson, Nevada, in July, related to the ongoing investigation. (The house that police investigated belongs to Davis’ wife.) Las Vegas police have long maintained their case was hampered by a lack of cooperation from witnesses, though independent investigations have unearthed significantly more information than what has been revealed by law enforcement.
The case originates in May 1996 when Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson allegedly assaulted Travon “Tray” Lane, associate of Death Row Records boss Suge Knight, at a shoe store. On September 7, after a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Lane told Shakur he saw Anderson in the lobby. Shakur then led an assault on Anderson that security cameras captured. He returned to his hotel room at the Luxor before departing with Knight for Club 662, where he was scheduled to perform at a charity event.
En route, a white Cadillac pulled up to the passenger side of Shakur’s car. The shooter rolled down the rear seat window of the Cadillac and fired a .40 S&W Glock 22, hitting Shakur four times. One bullet entered Shakur’s right lung, and the musician was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada to receive treatment. He died six days later after the removal of his right lung caused respiratory failure and cardiac arrest.
Anderson was arrested in a “gang sweep” one month later. Investigators interviewed Anderson and identified him as the man in the surveillance footage, but did not charge or arrest him, believing the person in the footage could not have killed Shakur. Lieutanent Larry Spinosa told reporters, “At this point, Orlando Anderson is not a suspect in the shooting of Tupac Shakur.”
Two months after the shooting, in November 1996, Yaki Kadafi—a New Jersey native and member of Shakur’s group Outlawz—was murdered in a housing project in Irvington, New Jersey. Kadafi, who famously appeared on the diss track “Hit ’Em Up,” was riding in the car behind Shakur’s and witnessed the shooting. He initially refused to cooperate with police, but later said he could possibly identify the assailants. He died before he was interviewed.
Outlawz member E.D.I. Mean and Shakur’s bodyguard Frank Alexander told the Los Angeles Times in March 1997 that they were in the car directly behind Shakur’s at the time of the murder. Alexander said he saw the killer’s face, while E.D.I. Mean said he saw all four men in the vehicle. Police told the Times that the two men’s accounts could lead to a breakthrough in the case. By September 1997, one year after the shooting, Las Vegas Metro Police had no leads. Lead investigator Sergeant Kevin Manning told the Las Vegas Sun, “We’re at a standstill.”
Anderson, who was briefly a suspect but never arrested or charged, sued Shakur’s estate, claiming he suffered physical injuries and severe emotional and mental distress from the assault at the MGM Grand. Days later, Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur, frustrated by the lack of progress in the murder case, sued Anderson for wrongful death. Her lawyer, Richard Fishbein, said, “The Las Vegas police have as much interest in solving this crime as the man on the moon.... I believe I cannot do any worse than they have.” Anderson was shot and killed in a shootout at a car wash in Compton, California, in May 1998—18 months after Shakur’s murder.
The Los Angeles Times’ Chuck Philips was behind a September 2002 feature with new details about the case. Immediately after the shooting, he reported, the LAPD’s Compton gang unit had been flooded with tips implicating the Crips and “Baby Lane”—Anderson’s nickname. A week later, the Compton gang unit told Las Vegas police they believed the Southside Crips were responsible for the murder and that Anderson was the shooter.
In 2009, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man arrested today, was questioned by Los Angeles police in connection with the murder of Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. Davis was a Crips member and Anderson’s uncle. He confessed that he was involved in Shakur’s 1996 murder. In a recording of the interview, Davis fingered Anderson as the shooter, telling police “[Anderson] leaned over and rolled down the window and popped him.” He said his aim was not good enough, so he gave the gun to Anderson and said he then fired the shots that killed Shakur.
The interview was a proffer session, in which individuals are allowed to give statements about a crime without it being used against them in court. In November 2019, Greg Kading, a retired Los Angeles police detective who worked on the Notorious B.I.G.’s murder case, confirmed to CBS News Los Angeles that Davis confessed to his involvement in Shakur’s murder while being questioned in connection with his investigation of the Notorious B.I.G.’s murder.
Former Death Row bodyguard James "Mob James" McDonald claimed in April 2017 that he saw Anderson and other Southside Crips arrive at Club 662 in a white Cadillac before the shooting. In the USA Network documentary Unsolved, aired in February 2018, Davis said he was in the front passenger seat of the car that carried Shakur’s murderer when shots were fired, but he declined to name the shooter. He claimed the car was driven by Terrence “T-Brown” Brown, that Anderson and DeAndre “Dre” Smith were in the backseat, and that the shooter was in the backseat. By then, all three men had died.

PUTRAJAYA: The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) foiled an attempt to smuggle 61 kg of drugs, with an estimated value of about RM2 million, concealed in three packages declared as 'vehicle spare parts', on Sept 5 at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Air Cargo Terminal, Free Trade Zone in Sepang.
Central Zone JKDM Enforcement Operations director Wong Pun Sian said a total of 60 green packages containing methamphetamine were found during an inspection.
In a statement today, Wong said there were writings such as 'refined Chinese tea' and several other Mandarin writings on the said packages which contained crystal powder.
"The modus operandi used was by declaring the packages as containing vehicle spare parts and hiding the drugs in plastic tea bags to dodge the authorities," he said, adding that further investigations are underway to track down the suspects.
Wong also said that preliminary investigations found the packages were addressed to a recipient in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which provides for the death penalty or life imprisonment and whipping not less than 15 strokes upon conviction.
Wong added that the quantity of the drugs that were seized could be used by about 305,000 drug addicts. --BERNAMA

Sexual assault: The court returned a 10-year prison sentence against the trader
PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal here today returned the decision of the Sessions Court which sentenced a businessman to 10 years in prison for physically sexually assaulting his 12-year-old stepson, two years ago.
The 40-year-old man was also given four strokes of the cane.
This follows the decision of a panel of three Court of Appeal judges consisting of Datuk Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera, Datuk Azhahari Kamal Ramli and Datuk SM Komathy Suppiah who allowed the prosecution's appeal to reinstate the Sessions Court decision.
The prosecution filed an appeal against the High Court's decision which reduced the man's sentence to seven years in prison.
In setting aside the High Court's decision, Judge Vazeer said the High Court had erred when it reduced the prison sentence from 10 years to seven years.
He said the seven-year prison sentence was low and the High Court should have considered the family relationship between the offender and the victim.
Judge Vazeer said taking into account sentencing trends, a 10-year prison sentence was appropriate for the offence.
On 15 July 2021, the man pleaded guilty to two charges of physical sexual assault on the Year Six student at a house in Banting, Selangor on 17 April and 9 May of the same year and the Sessions Court sentenced him to 10 years in prison with two lashes for each charges.
However, the court ordered the two sentences to run concurrently, meaning the man had to serve 10 years in prison and receive four lashes.
He was charged under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017 and read together with Section 16(1) of the same act. Section 14(a) provides for a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and caning on conviction.
On June 28 last year, the High Court allowed the man's appeal and reduced the prison sentence to seven years. However, the court upheld the lashing sentence, prompting the prosecution to file an appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Deputy Public Prosecutor P. Sarulatha said the High Court did not take into account Section 16(1) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act.
The section states that a person who has a family relationship with the child, in addition to the punishment for the offence, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years and shall be subjected to whipping of not less than two lashes.
Lawyer Muhamad Izwan Ishak from the National Legal Aid Foundation who represented the man asked the court to uphold the seven-year prison sentence.
He said it was based on a case by the Ipoh High Court which sentenced an accused who faced the same charges as his client to eight years.
A businessman pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate's Court here today to the charge of injuring an Indonesian maid using a vacuum cleaner.
Lee Chee Huat, 46, was charged with intentionally causing injury to her maid, Darsinih, 29, in an apartment unit in Metro Prima, Sentul here, at about 10.30am, last Friday (Sept 22).
The charge is made under Section 324 of the Penal Code which carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years or with a fine or whipping or any two of those punishments, if convicted.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nadia Eleena Jamaluddin Akbal did not offer bail because the offense cannot be bailed, but lawyer Vincent Chew who represented the accused asked for minimum bail to be imposed on his client.
Magistrate Atiqah Mohamed @ Mohamad Saim allowed the accused to be bailed at RM2,500 with one surety with an additional condition that the accused must report to the nearest police station once a month until the case is completed and set the case to be mentioned again on 3 November.
Last Wednesday, the media reported that the victim was seen at the door of the apartment house for 15 minutes while watching the workers of a logistics company move goods into his neighbor's house.
The woman then dared to ask for help from the workers involved to help save her by calling the authorities.

KUALA LUMPUR: Jalan Sungai Besi leading to Sungai Besi/ Petaling Jaya (opposite Fraser Business Park) and the Loke Yew Roundabout, which was to be closed to all traffic in stages from Sept 30, 2023, to Sept 29, 2024, has been postponed to Oct 2 (2023) to Oct 1, 2024.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said in a statement today that the road closure was to allow the widening, renovation and construction of a bridge at the Loke Yew Roundabout to be carried out.
"The DBKL administration has appointed Tetuan Pertama Makmur Sdn Bhd to carry out the construction work on the widening of Jalan Yew which started in October 2021 and is expected to be completed on Dec 31, 2025, and construction work is actively being carried out on-site," according to the statement today.
Accordingly, road users can use some of the traffic diversions provided.
Traffic from the Kampung Pandan Roundabout to Sungai Besi/Petaling Jaya will be diverted into two parts, one through the road next to Federal Bakery and the other, the contraflow lane in the adjacent lane.
The Jalan Yew traffic route from Kampung Pandan Roundabout to Jalan Kinabalu and Jalan Kuching will be closed during the construction period, therefore the alternative route is through Jalan Kampung Pandan, Jalan Imbi and Jalan Hang Tuah.
Meanwhile, to enable the demolition of the ramp and the reconstruction of the bridge at Pudu Roundabout leading to Jalan Sungai Besi (next to Pudu police station), the ramp from Jalan Pudu to Jalan Yew will be closed to all traffic during the same period.
"The alternative route is through Jalan Sungai Besi, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Jalan Satu, Jalan Dua and Jalan Tiga," said the statement.
Therefore, DBKL advises all road users to obey the signs and traffic police instructions as a guide and safety measure to avoid any confusion and inconvenience.

KUALA LUMPUR: The implementation of the Open Payment Toll Collection System (SPT) which allows highway users to pay tolls using debit and credit cards, officially began today on 11 highways.
The highways are the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Expressway (AKLEH), the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), the Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA), the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) and the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE).
Others include the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Skim Penyuraian Trafik Kuala Lumpur Barat (SPRINT), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), SMART Tunnel, Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya Expressway (MEX) and Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE).
Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the implementation of the SPT would provide new alternatives to existing toll payment methods such as Touch 'n Go, Smart Tag and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
"Our objective is to provide payment options for users since previously there were only one or two systems; sometimes their (Touch'N Go) card(s) balance is not sufficient (for toll payment).
"Road users now have another option, namely the SPT, this is also the first step towards implementing the multi-lane free flow (MLFF) system in the future," he said after officiating the Implementation of the SPT at the Loke Yew Toll Plaza on BESRAYA today.
He said that so far, 12 highways have agreed to implement the SPT, however, the implementation of the system on the Penang Bridge (JPP) is expected to begin at the end of this year to allow the concessionaire to conduct further study on it.
In the meantime, Nanta said discussions are ongoing to expand the implementation of the SPT on other highways in the country.
The implementation of the SPT system is part of the MYjalan campaign initiative undertaken by the Works Ministry, the Malaysian Highway Authority and highway concession companies to provide convenience to road users.

GEORGE TOWN: Penang residents are asked to save water for daily use as some areas in the state are facing water supply disruptions following the high level of water turbidity in Sungai Muda.
Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the high level of turbidity was due to the flood incident in Baling, Kedah and similar incidents had happened before.
"According to the Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP), at 3 this morning, the water turbidity of Sungai Muda could still be controlled, but at 5 am, the water turbidity had risen sharply.
"This situation causes the Sungai Dua Water Treatment Plant (LRA) to be unable to treat water from Sungai Muda because the plant is at risk of damage if it receives the water to be treated," he told reporters here today.
He said PBAPP had already announced that the treatment capacity at the Sungai Dua LRA was only 30 percent and it was expected that there would be water disruptions for users today in most areas in the state.
Meanwhile, PBAPP in a statement informed that Sungai Dua LRA is the largest and most important LRA in Penang because it supplies water to approximately 465,004 users.
"When PBAPP detected very turbid water at the mouth of Lahar Tiang, PBAPP had to reduce the abstraction of raw water from Sungai Muda and has caused the production of treated water at Sungai Dua LRA to decrease by 30 percent to 715 million liters per day (JLH) at 9 am from the average 1,019 JLH.
"Therefore, the supply of treated water to 70 percent of consumers has been affected in the George Town area; South of Bukit Dumbar to Balik Pulau (Betong Island, Bukit Penara, Pondok Upeh and Bandar Balik Pulau); Seberang Perai Tengah (southern area of Rumah Pam Bukit Minyak) and Seberang Perai Selatan," according to the statement.

HAMDANIYA, Iraq: Calls for accountability grew on Thursday for the victims of a deadly fire at an Iraqi wedding celebration in a Christian town as grief-stricken mourners attended a packed memorial service and families buried their loved ones.
More than 100 people died and at least 150 were injured on Tuesday evening in an inferno that government officials have said was enabled by a lack of safety and security measures and the use of highly flammable materials in the building.
In a sermon interrupted at times by the wails of women clad in black, a priest at Al-Tahira Church in Hamdaniya - also known as Qaraqosh - told mourners that Iraq had been united in grief but criticized officials for "your corruption, your favouritism."
"Nothing is up to standard in this country," he said as mourners, some crying, others holding pictures of the deceased, listened on.
"We have to hold those who are responsible accountable… enough, enough!"
Criticism of a lax approach to public safety is common in Iraq, a country where the state has been weakened by recurring conflict since the 2003 U.S. invasion, and where services are impaired by pervasive corruption for which few senior officials are ever held to account.
The tragedy has revived memories of deadly fires that swept through two hospitals in Iraq in 2021, killing at least 174 people in all, that were at the time blamed on negligence, lax regulations and corruption.
Government officials have announced the arrest of 14 people over Tuesday night's fire, including the owners of the events hall, and promised a swift investigation with results announced within 72 hours.
The government has also ordered immediate inspections of large public gathering spaces such as hotels, schools and hospitals.
"There is no such thing as destiny in Christianity; this is manmade," said Botrous Kareem, a local resident who lost five cousins in the fire and was on his way to a cemetery to attend more burials. "God has nothing to do with this."

KUANTAN: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) has issued a notice asking bread producer Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd (Gardenia KL) to provide an explanation regarding the price increase of 30 types of its bread range from Oct 1.
Deputy Minister Fuziah Salleh said the notice was issued yesterday and the company needed to respond, as an unreasonable price increase could burden consumers.
"Gardenia needs to respond to the notice within six days because we want to know all the costs involved such as the price of flour used, transport costs, wholesale and retail. The entire supply chain needs to be explained," she said.
Fuziah said this after attending the Tanjung Lumpur State Constituency Mobile Rahmah Sale at the Pinggiran Putra People's Housing Project (PPR) here today.
She said KPDN would do a comprehensive tally after receiving Gardenia KL's explanation later to determine whether the increase in the price of food items was rational or justified.
Fuziah said the KPDN could not prevent a company from raising the price of their goods but it could be controlled through the Price Control and Anti-Profitability Act.
Previously, Gardenia KL through a media statement confirmed that 30 of its products would see a price increase of between 10 and 40 sen, after reviewing the prices of selected items.
However, the bread manufacturer said the price of white bread, whole wheat (wholemeal) bread and Toast'em bread would remain unchanged to ensure that the increase does not burden the majority of customers.
In the Mobile Rahmah Sale programme today, two lorries carrying a load of food items and basic needs with a subsidised value of RM34,000 were placed in the area to make it easier for the public to purchase them.
America's Got Talent has officially crowned a new champion!
After weeks of intense competition, trainer Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane were declared the season 18 winner on Wednesday night's much-anticipated NBC finale.
The dog trainer and his faithful canine companion walked away with a grand prize of $1 million and a headlining act as part of the America's Got Talent Presents Superstars Live show at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Adrian and his border collie proved to be an instant crowd-pleaser from the beginning of their AGT journey.
For their audition, the dynamic duo — who have performed together all over the world — put on a display of various impressive tricks set to "Better When I'm Dancing" by Meghan Trainor.
They once again impressed the judges at the live show, during which they performed a routine set to Smash Mouth’s cover of “I’m a Believer” and Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” They received standing ovations and unanimous praise.
“I think in terms of stepping up from the audition to the live show, this is the best act we've seen tonight,” judge Simon Cowell declared. “This was live, and that was a tricky routine. She was amazing."
“I think Hurricane is ready for Vegas,” fellow judge SofÃa Vergara added enthusiastically, unknowingly teasing what was to come.
Then, in Tuesday's finale, the duo pulled out all the tricks for a performance set to Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and even called up Vergara to help with their act.
Adrian and Hurricane were up against a fierce roster of talent, which included 10 other promising candidates: synchronized dance group Murmuration, stand-up comedian Ahren Belisle, singer-musician Putri Ariani, head-balancing duo the Ramadhani Brothers, magician Anna DeGuzman, singer Lavender Darcangelo, dance group Chibi Unity, the Mzansi Youth Choir, the 82nd Airborne Division Chorus and the all-women Japanese dance group Avantgardey.
During Wednesday's finale, the top 5 acts were announced as the Ramadhani Brothers, Putri Ariani, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Anna DeGuzman and Murmuration.
Though Mzansi Youth Choir did not make it into the top 5, they learned shortly after their elimination that Coldplay had invited them to perform with them live at their upcoming show.
From there, Ramadhani Brothers finished in fifth place, Putri Ariani in fourth, Murmuration in third, and magician Anna DeGuzman in second.
Aside from the contestants, Wednesday's finale show boasted several notable guests, including pop and R&B singer Jason Derulo, musician John Batiste, singer Leona Lewis, Iron Chef's Cat Cora, legendary songwriter Diane Warren, the band Thirty Seconds to Mars and AGT season 17 winner The Mayyas.
Each of the contestants got a chance to perform with one of the guests for one final time on the AGT stage.

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) won the Super League championship for the 10th time in a row, after beating PDRM FC 4-0 at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, here last night.
JDT proved their effectiveness even though there were still four games left, by collecting 64 points after defeating The Cops squad.
The success also saw the squad coached by Estaban Solari create history in national football, when it emerged as the only football club to win the championship for 10 consecutive seasons, after first winning it in 2014.
In fact, JDT also achieved a 'treble' success after previously winning the Sumbangsih Cup and FA Cup trophies.
In last night's match, South Tigers took a 2-0 lead in the first half through Brazilian sensation Bergson Da Silva and midfielder Juan Muniz in the 37th and 40th minutes respectively.
The second half saw a mistake by PDRM FC defender Izaaq Izhan Yuswardi, bringing down Arif Aiman Mohd Hanapi in the penalty box which resulted in a penalty, when JDT was awarded a penalty kick by referee Fitri Maskon.
Arif Aiman easily completed the penalty kick in the 54th minute, thus scoring the third goal for the Harimau Selatan team.
Esteban Solari's men, however, did not take long to add to the score through a powerful shot by Argentine striker FernandoForestieri, three minutes later.
The fourth goal completed the night for JDT to celebrate last night's victory.

Malaysia remains neutral despite cooperation with China and the US
Malaysia has never changed that stance and even the two superpowers remain the biggest investors in the country.
BEIJING: Malaysia remains a Zone of Peace, Freedom and Neutrality (ZOPFAN) country despite establishing international trade cooperation with two competing superpowers, namely China and the United States.
Yang Dipertua Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Johari Abdul said Malaysia has never changed its position and even the two superpowers remain the biggest investors in the country.
He said following the economic paradigm shift to the Asian region, Malaysia should also strengthen trade relations with China, which is increasingly advanced in the field of economy and technology.
"Anyone who wants to do business with us, we do business... but it is more important when there is now a wave of economic exchange to Asia.
"If the 19th century belonged to the British and Europe, the 20th century to the United States and now the 21st century, a change occurred when economic development showed that Asia was the place to be.
"If Malaysia does not take advantage of this Asian economic wave, there is definitely something wrong with us," he said in a special interview with Bernama in conjunction with his official visit to Beijing, China.
He said this when answering a question about how Malaysia balances the world's perception of the country's actions that establish diplomatic cooperation and international trade with China and the United States.
Johari said Malaysia as the host country of the ASEAN Summit in 2025 must have a clear direction in line with the wave of economic change to the region.
Thus, he said cooperation and diplomatic relations with China open opportunities for Malaysia to set a direction in leading ASEAN.
"Imagine when we become Chairman, what and how will we lead ASEAN if we don't talk about the rise of Asia and its economy.
"We don't want to talk about politics and war... for me, what we will highlight, debate and do when the time comes in 2025 is that we aim for the great position of our people and this region," he said.
He described the agenda and direction as noble and good, therefore the country should collaborate with China to maximize Malaysia's potential in the region.
Johari, who led the Malaysian Parliament delegation, ended his official visit to the republic at the invitation of his counterpart, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress of China (NPC) Zhao Leji, today.
During the visit since Sept 23, Johari held a bilateral meeting with Zhao, Chairman of the Chinese People's Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Huning and Chinese President Xi Jinping in addition to attending the opening ceremony of the Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games and visiting several large companies in the country in the field of technology, renewable energy, agriculture and artificial intelligence (AI).

Sim didakwa meminta suapan wang berjumlah RM15 juta daripada Pengarah Urusan Asia Coding Centre Sdn Bhd, Hep Kim Hong melalui Syed Abu Zafran Syed Ahmad.

PUTRAJAYA: Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil today said there were no discussions regarding a Cabinet reshuffle in today's Cabinet meeting.
"No discussion on Cabinet reshuffle," he said briefly when asked about the rumours of potential Cabinet changes in the Unity Government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
It was reported that there would be a Cabinet reshuffle in Anwar's administration with several ministers expected to be dropped after the Pelangai by-election on Oct 7.
Fahmi, who is also the Unity Government's spokesperson, said today's Cabinet meeting had focused on discussing and finding solutions to rice price and supply issues.
"I was made to understand that the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu will hold a press conference later to announce the details of several decisions made regarding the issues. Let's wait for that," he said.
In another development, Fahmi said the government also has no plan to reinstate the Anti-Fake News Act 2018.
"As of now, there were no discussions on the plan to reinstate the Act, so it is a non-issue.
"Prior to this, my deputy (Teo Nie Ching) and I did mention that the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 was being reviewed, but we are not ready to bring it to Parliament as the engagement process is still ongoing," he said.
The Anti-Fake News Act 2018 was tabled in Parliament on March 27, 2018, and was passed on April 2 of the same year.
The Act, however, was repealed on Dec 19, 2019, in line with the government's commitment at that time to repeal oppressive laws and ensure that the media has the freedom to carry out checks and balances on the government's administration.
