Police are looking for this pedophilia suspect
Petaling Jaya: Police are hunting for a man who allegedly committed sexual assault on two children in Section 19 here, last Monday based on a photofit sketch made with the victim's help.
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the 26 -year -old suspect was actively detected following a report from the victim's 40 -year -old mother.
"Photofit sketches were made with the help of eight- and nine -year -old victims who identified the suspect's face," he said in a statement today.
He asked for the cooperation of the public to help his party track down the suspect who is 168 centimeters (cm) tall and thin.
"People who know the suspect or are aware of the incident can contact the investigating officer Inspector M Naresh Kumar at 016-975 7113," he said.
According to him, the case is being investigated in accordance with Section 14 (a) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017.
The media yesterday reported that two boys who returned home crying revealed their story of being approached by a pedophile man while selling cakes at an apartment in Section 19 here.
