5 hospital staff were compounded for violating SOP
KUALA PILAH: As a result of failing to comply with standard operating procedures (SOP), five staff of Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital (HTAN) here, were compounded last night.
Kuala Pilah District Police Chief, Superintendent Amran Mohd Gani, said they were compounded for not wearing a face mask and not checking in through the MySejahtera application or writing on the register book when entering the premises.
He said they were subjected to the action in an integrated operation to comply with SOP Movement Control Order (PKP) 3.0 involving the Kuala Pilah District Health Office, HTAN and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in this district, which was held at 8.30 last night.
"The integrated operation was carried out at the request of HTAN's own management after the party found a low rate of compliance with SOP PKP 3.0 among the hospital staff.
"A total of 10 officers from the three agencies were involved in the operation and five individuals were compounded," he said here today.
According to him, his party also advised on the importance of SOPs for all HTAN staff and the public who deal there to comply with the SOPs set in an effort to break the COVID-19 chain.
"It is our hope that all levels of society are fully compliant with the SOP so that efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic are successful," he said.
