KUALA LUMPUR: Padang Rengas Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, has withdrawn his support for Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin
“I, as the Padang Rengas UMNO Chief, officially withdraw my support given to Muhyiddin in forming the current government.
"This decision is the best for my party. We do not decide when the election will be, but withdrawing my support means the government no longer has a majority, " he said in a press conference today.
According to him, the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government now has the support of 109 MPs, after Machang Member of Parliament, Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub withdrew his support to the PN last Saturday.
