PETALING JAYA: To mark the beginning of the year, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is offering a New Year Sale with discounts up to 35% on economy class and business class tickets to various domestic and international destinations.

MAS said the New Year Sale would begin on Jan 2 until Jan 20 for travels between Jan 2 and Dec 31.


Customers can enjoy all-in, one-way economy class fares to Penang, Langkawi and Johor Baru from just RM89, Kuching from RM129, Kota Kinabalu from RM179, Phuket from RM219, Jakarta from RM229 and Bangkok from RM259.

Meanwhile, destinations to India, China, Korea and Australia, with all-in, return economy class to Chennai will start from RM899, Kochi from RM699, Shanghai from RM1,199, Seoul from RM1,399, Brisbane from RM1,599.


Flights to London will start from RM2,899 and Auckland from RM2,999.

MAS said there would be bundle deals on offer as well, with discounts at 20%. It said passengers will get an additional 10kg of baggage with a standard seat included in the bundle deals.

For its premium bundle, it said passengers would be entitled to KLIA Golden Lounge access in addition to a seat with extra legroom.
