14-year-old girl pregnant after alleged gang rape, five arrested

KOTA KINABALU: A 14-year-old girl is pregnant after her boyfriend and his friends allegedly gang raped her.
It is believed that there are seven suspects involved.
Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Habibi Majinji said five suspects aged between 17 and 20 were nabbed after the girl's father lodged a report on Friday (Jan 3).
They were arrested in separate raids around Menggatal near here. Two more suspects are wanted by the police.
According to the girl, the first incident took place last November when one of the suspects, the girl's boyfriend, took her out on a date before going to a house.
"The suspect then took her to Likas Bay and then to a house at Taman Bukit Setia, Sepanggar, where he and his four other friends allegedly raped her," ACP Habibi said on Monday (Jan 6).
He said the victim was allegedly raped a second time on Dec 25 by the suspect and two others in the same house.
The girl did not tell anyone about the incidents and only found only recently that she was pregnant.
