PETALING JAYA, Feb 6 — Datin Diana Danielle took to Instagram in her latest show of support for beleaguered husband and actor Datuk Farid Kamil.
The actress posted a selfie of the two of them smiling into the camera with a caption appearing to address rumours of marriage troubles.
“Those who are going through hardships are in the dark, but Allah loves and guides those who are patient,” wrote Diana, full name Diana Danielle Danny Beeson.
Diana and Farid got hitched in 2012 and have two children together.
But their relationship was rocked with Farid’s controversial arrest last month when he was held for attacking a policeman and a civilian at the Kota Damansara traffic police station.
On January 31, he lodged a police report and claimed his bizarre actions were caused by a ‘spiked’ drink he had consumed the day before, allegedly laced with drugs by three fellow artistes without his knowledge.
Days after his arrest, Diana, who had been silent for the most part in relation to the incident, was moved to deny rumours she had been physically assaulted by Farid at some point during their marriage, as reported by Kosmo! Ahad.
“My husband has never ever, not even once, been physical towards me. I stand by him and we will work towards improving what is needed and strengthening what is already solid,” she wrote on social media.
Her post last night garnered over 189,000 likes and hundreds of comments supporting the couple.
