A Vietnamese woman fell to her death from the third floor of the Imbi monorail station this afternoon.
Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sukri Kaman said the victim, in her 20s, was believed to have jumped from the third floor of the station.
He said passers-by alerted police to the incident about 1.20pm.
Sukri said investigations were still being conducted to ascertain the exact circumstances behind the woman’s death, but added that the case has been initially classified as “sudden death” as no signs of foul play had been found so far.
He said checks revealed that the victim had entered the country on Sept 10, adding that her body was taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post mortem examination
