Grab Car Driver who almost came to blows with DBKL personnel has been arrested.

The incident was believed to have stemmed from a parking infraction. The suspect's car was clapped by municipal council personnel after they found his car to have been parked outside the designated box.
PETALING JAYA: The man who almost came to blows with municipal council personnel has been arrested.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin confirmed that police had arrested the man from the viral video.
The 38-year-old Grab driver was arrested at the Cheras police headquarters this evening.

“He will be remanded (on Wednesday) and the case is being investigated under Section 186 and 506 of the Penal Code, for obstructing a public servant from discharging his duties and criminal intimidation," said ACP Chong.
The video, which went viral on Tuesday, showed the man fighting with DBKL personnel after his car had been clamped.
This viral video came on the heels of a similar incident that occurred in early September, when a woman threatened a municipal council officer with a steering lock.
This happened during a shouting match after the officer had clamped her car for illegally parking in front of a restaurant in Puchong.
