PETALING JAYA: Traffic police are on the lookout for the owner of a blue Proton Satria which was involved in a traffic accident on the morning of New Year's Day.
City traffic chief Asst Comm Mohd Nadzri Hussain said that the accident was caught on camera and occurred at 8am at the Jalan Tun Razak Shell petrol station.
In the 18-second video, a blue car can be seen reversing and hitting a parked Honda HR-V before speeding off.
However, the number plate of the car in question that was captured on video was too blur.
ACP Mohd Nadzri added that the footage has been sent to the Forensics Department to trace its number plate.
“We urge the driver of the blue Proton to report to the nearest police station to help facilitate investigations,” said ACP Mohd Nadzri.
