The housewife struck big in the Supreme Toto 6/58 Jackpot on January 4, thanks in part to her uncle.

The woman, who resides in Singapore, said she would frequently ask her uncle in Johor to buy the numbers for her.

“I would give some money to my uncle to buy numbers for me whenever I visit him in Malaysia.

“I do not bet regularly. The winning set (19, 20, 23, 50, 53 and 54) is my favourite numbers which I had been buying for four years,” she said, according to Sports Toto in a statement today.

The woman said she could not believe the news when her uncle told her that she had won. Her uncle had even gone to check on the results for her at a Sports Toto outlet.

She plans to reward her uncle for buying the numbers.

She said the prize money would be used for her children's education fund.

She won RM24,330,366.50 with a RM4 ticket, which she had bet on two sets of Lotto numbers.

In total, RM56 million of Toto Jackpots were won between Christmas eve last year and the 2017 new year.

Meanwhile, Power Toto (6/55) also created two millionaires from Sarawak and Selangor, who won RM6,689,972.05 on Christmas eve in 2016 and RM3,551,156 on Jan 4, respectively.
