The nominations for the 68th Emmy Awards are in, and several representatives from the food world
made the cutAnthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, which airs on CNN, was the big winner on Emmy 
noms day. In its seventh season, the show is is up for five awards this year, including Outstanding
 Informational Series or Special. Four individual episodes are nominated.
"Ethiopia" is nominated for Outstanding Sound Mixing in a Nonfiction Series.
"Cuba" is nominated for Outstanding Cinematography in a Nonfiction Series.
"Okinawa" is nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing in a Nonfiction Series.
"Borneo" is nominated for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program.
Meanwhile, Netflix's acclaimed series Chef's Table snagged three nominations for its second season,
 including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series. Two individual episodes garnered accolades.
"Grant Achatz" is nominated for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series. xxx

"Gaggan Anand" is nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Nonfiction Program.
Top Chef is once again among the nominations. Following its 13th season that spanned the state of
California, the longtime Bravo favorite is up for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program.
Proving food television doesn't have to be too serious or competitive, episodes of Bob's Burgers and
South Park are nominated for Outstanding Animated Program. Bob's Burgers, now in its sixth season
on Fox, is represented by its episode "The Horse Rider-er."
Comedy Central icon South Park is nominated for its episode "You're Not Yelping," which
lampoons the amateur restaurant critics that drive Yelp.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the Jerry Seinfeld-hosted web series that airs on Crackle, is zipping right along in its eighth season. It's nominated for Outstanding Variety Talk Series.
And to prove food television really doesn't have to be too serious Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is up 
for Outstanding Structured Reality Program. The Food Network show hosted by human neon sign 
Guy Fieri is in its 24th season.
