Cops smash drug syndicate after arresting 'masterminds' in Seremban

KUALA LUMPUR: Police crippled a drug syndicate after seizing drugs worth RM8mil and arresting two of the gang’s masterminds.
Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigations director Comm Datuk Noor Rashid Ibrahim said the two, aged 29 and 34, were arrested nearby a fast food restaurant in Seremban on Saturday.
Comm Noor Rashid said police found 50,000 Eramin 5 pills, 100 Ecstacy pills and three grams of Ketamine in the car boot of the suspects.
Police were led by the suspects to an apartment in Kampung Cheras Baru, Ampang here and discovered other drugs stored by the syndicate.

“We managed to find 392,000 Eramin 5 pills, 1.4kg of Ketamine, 88 grams of Syabu powder, 2,325 Ecstacy pills, 38 grams of powder and 835ml of liquid believed to be Ecstacy,” he told a press conference at the Bukit Aman police headquarters here on Monday.
