Members of public tie up snatch thief in KL and vow to expose him online
MALAYSIA - A snatch thief in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, met his match when h
e was nabbed by members of the public who tied him up - but that was just the beginning.To add on to his humiliation, they also filmed him on video so that he would be exposed online.
A video of the incident has been circulating on facebook, and its caption stated that it took place at Batu 9, Taman Orkid Cheras on Tuesday morning (Jan 8).
Netizens have praised the men in the video for a job well done, and said the thief had it coming.

A woman who was walking down a street with her baby in the pram, was snatched of her gold chain this morning.
Passersby who heard her screaming and took noticed of what had happened chased the suspect. When they caught up with him, the suspect tried to fight back. The suspect hit one of the men on his forehead till it bled.
Eventually though, the robber was overpowered by the rest of the passersby. He was then tied up, both his hands and legs.
The community policing in the area was called up to assist and the suspect was later handed over to the police. — at Batu 9 Cheras
