Now that there is a few day left to the Ramadhan fasting month, we are listing the top 3 hotels that in our opinion provided the best Ramadan Buka Puasa Buffet for 2013.
The listing is separated into three categories- Below RM99.00 ++ - Top 5, Above RM100.00 ++ -Top 5 and Overall - Top 3 categories.
The ranking is based on but not limited to:
-variety and quality of food & beverage provided in the buffet.
- taste of food and drinks, especially of the grilled / roast lamb.
- ambiance of the venue & decoration.
- number of live cooking stations
- service provided by chefs at live counters and service staff.
- capability to handle the crowd, as some places over sold seat and were not able to provide proper service.
- value for money paid.
We did not take into account Ramadan buka puasa buffet previews for the media done by most hotels, as some of them seem to give you the best offering during the preview but when comes to the daily buka puasa buffet offering, it does not live up to expectations.
We took account of the main Ramadan buka puasa buffet spread, as some hotels had two different spreads to cater for individual and corporate bookings.

Special Mention:
We applaud the Seri Pacific KL for creating a separate buffet offering at Zende Restaurant and pricing it at RM50.00 nett. Although it was a smaller spread than the spread at their Grand Ballroom, still there was quite a good variety. Quality of food was good and great tasting. This allowed more people to enjoy the Ramadan Buka Puasa spread in the ambiance of a 5 Star hotel. A true treat for some, especially big families.
