EFL Cup: Salah's charm took Liverpool to the final

LIVERPOOL 4 TOTTENHAM 1 (Liverpool to the final with an aggregate advantage of 4-1)
Defending champions Liverpool will defend their English League Cup (EFL) title at Wembley Stadium after confirming their place in the final by beating Tottenham 4-0 at Anfield earlier this morning.
Spurs, battling a storm of injuries, went to Anfield with a one-goal advantage in a 1-0 win in the first semi-final meeting but Ange Postecoglou's side clearly could not hold the Reds to a 4-1 aggregate lead, thus meeting Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium on March 16.
Liverpool clearly dominated the game from the start and goals from Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Virgil van Dijk were enough to prove the dominance they displayed.
Szoboszlai's early goal was cancelled out by the referee due to being in an offside position but Gakpo then made a brilliant finish after receiving a cross from Salah in the 34th minute.
The English Premier League (EPL) leaders then added another goal in the sixth minute of the second half, where Salah completed a penalty kick into the top left corner of the goal, following an incident in which Darwin Nunez was brought down by goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky.
Szoboszlai then made his mark as the scorer in the 75th minute before Van Dijk capped off the Reds' glorious day with another goal in the 80th minute.
