Two men were arrested to help investigate the case of a businessman who was killed by a group of men armed with machetes and a 'taser gun' in Taman Jaya, Kapar here, last Thursday.
North Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao said that the two local suspects, aged 25 and 28, were arrested yesterday and today.
"Their arrest was carried out around Kapar to help investigate the murder case.
"The first suspect was remanded for seven days while the remand period for the latest suspect will be obtained tomorrow. The case is being investigated according to Section 302 of the Penal Code," he said today.
It was previously reported a revenge crime, a businessman was killed mafia-style by four men who entered the victim's house and then slashed the man many times using a machete in an incident in Taman Jaya, Kapar here.
All the suspects then fled in a Perodua Myvi type car after killing the victim before his body was found with more than three slash marks on his limbs lying face down in front of the bedroom.
Vijaya informed that, through closed circuit camera (CCTV) footage, four men were spotted entering the house armed with machetes and a taser gun.

The victim was found dead lying on his back, believed to have been killed in front of his bedroom last Thursday.
According to him, the examination found that there were cuts on the victim's head, both legs, shoulder and right hand.
"The initial motive so far is believed to be due to revenge, however further investigations related to this case are still underway.
"Investigations at the location before, however, did not find any weapons that were used during the incident," he said.
