"(The position of GTA Chairman) that is (matter) old... (now I) do not have (any position), (the goal of establishing) GTA is not so, (GTA) does not help us (to win the election), because it ( shaped) party,
"We found that if we (move) as a party, we cannot win, we have already fought in the 15th General Election (GE-15), GTA and (Party) Pejuang (Tanah Air) lost 125 seats (which were contested in addition to losing deposits ),
"GTA (previously also) we did not (get) registered, (we) have not registered (as a legal party), (because) GTA ' not functioning ' and not moving, (I am not with them now)," said Dr. Mahathir.
He said this when met by the media after attending the Aidilfitri Open House organized by the Kubang Pasu Caring Organization in Kampung Naga, here, last night (Thursday).
In the same development, Dr Mahathir informed that he is now moving through the medium of the Proclamation of the Malays in addition to not being involved with any political party in this country.
The medium, explained the former Langkawi Member of Parliament, is trying to give awareness to the Malays in this country about the plight of those who are seen to have lost power in their own country.
He added that if unification among the Malays could not be realized, the position of the race in Malaysia would also erode day by day.
