SUNGAI BULOH: Police arrested a man believed to have had sex with his stepson in Sungai Buloh on Wednesday.
Sungai Buloh District Police Chief, Superintendent Shafa'aton Abu Bakar said, a woman was also arrested where previously she was also arrested in connection with a sexual assault case in Puncak Alam.
According to him, the local man in his 30s was arrested following a police report made by the 15-year-old victim regarding the incident.
"The woman was also arrested because she is believed to be involved in the incident.
"The investigation found that the incident happened at a hotel last January and the police will get a remand order involving the two suspects on Thursday," he told Sinar Harian on Wednesday.
He said the case was investigated in accordance with Section 14 (a) of the Children Act 2001.
Previously, the media reported that a woman was remanded for five days from last Wednesday until this Sunday to assist in the investigation into a case of physical sexual abuse against her 14-year-old son.
Last Friday, an unemployed man was arrested to help investigate the spread of the sexual video footage at a restaurant in Bandar Puncak Alam here.
