PM Anwar's New Look Unity Government Cabinet Ministers Don't Wear Neckties Following The Boss

 

THE BOSS ON MONDAY SPECIAL CABINET MEETING- POWER STATEMENT!

The Cabinet meeting of the Unity Government that took place this morning appeared different when the ministers did not wear neckties.

 It was through a photo shared by the Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof on Twitter on Wednesday. 

Also seen is the Chief Secretary, Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali also not wearing a tie as usual.


In the photo, all the male ministers are only wearing dark suits matched with light colored shirts.

Sinar Harian understands that it has been Anwar's image since the beginning and that he will only wear a necktie when facing the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Parliament sessions.

"Actually, it's not the tie that matters, but the most important thing for Anwar is that the Cabinet really works and focuses on the people only," he said

Asked if there was an order issued, he said, there was no order otherwise all the members of the Cabinet seemed to want to show the same image as the Prime Minister.

On the first day he set foot in Putrajaya as Prime Minister, Anwar was more comfortable wearing a soft pink Malay shirt complete with shoes.

The next day, he who chaired the Special Meeting of the National Livelihood Action Council was comfortable wearing a purple batik shirt while other civil servants were wearing lounge suits.

Meanwhile when appearing at the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, he remained in a simple appearance without wearing a tie despite wearing an office suit.
