No Fireworks at KLCC To Usher in 2023 - Petronas Twin Towers

Petronas Twin Towers had announced last week that KLCC will welcome the new year differently this year, following Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s recent announcement regarding the cancellation of 2023 New Year Celebration in Dataran Merdeka

 The upcoming new year countdown celebration with performances and fireworks has been cancelled, but the KLCC Park and Lake Symphony Fountains will still be illuminated.

“KLCC The Place stands in solidarity with fellow Malaysians who are currently experiencing challenging times with the ongoing natural disasters, the flood, and other difficulties,” stated the Petronas Twin Towers in a Facebook post.
