According to the Federal Government Gazette, under Section 11 of Act 342, the order is cited as the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Declaration of Infected Local Areas) (Extension of Operation) (No. 2) Order 2021.
The gazette said that its operation which had been extended for the period from April 1 to Aug 1, 2021, is extended from Aug 2 to Dec 31, 2021.
“This Order comes into operation on Aug 2, 2021,” it said.
