Not because of a holiday in Bali, BCL got Covid-19 because of the dancers
JAKARTA-Popular Indonesian celebrity Bunga Citra Lestari or affectionately known as BCL denied allegations that she was allegedly infected with Covid-19 after returning from a holiday in Bali recently.
Through a post uploaded on Instagram, the singer and also the actor said that she was found positive for the deadly epidemic after being in close contact with some of his dancers after meeting on June 10.
"To those who are concerned. I went to Bali from May 29 to June 2, 2021. Then I did some activities and worked in Jakarta after undergoing the Covid-19 PCR test process on June 12 and the result was negative.
“Some of my dancers were confirmed positive on June 13 after they met me on June 10, 2021. I did another PCR test on June 14 and was confirmed positive,” she said on Instagram.
Through the posting, the singer of the song Cinta Sejati also reminded netizens not to make reckless accusations and get accurate information before spreading any news.
“I never issued a statement that I was infected with Covid-19 after returning from Bali.
"Please get the correct information first before issuing any statement," she said.
For the record, the wife of the late Ashraf Sinclair is currently undergoing treatment and self-quarantine after being confirmed positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
