SHAH ALAM: Police have urged singer Ahmad Tajuddin of disbanded R&B group Innuendo and another man known only as Firdaus to come forward immediately.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor said the two were sought in connection with a police report lodged by actor Datuk Farid Kamil(pic).

"We know Firdaus is in Johor but we do not have information on the whereabouts of Ahmad Tajuddin.

"They better come forward by tomorrow (Friday) or else we will be forced to send out an official notice to the press," he told reporters at the Selangor police headquarters on Thursday.

He said police have been in contact with the two but somehow they have yet to turn up to help with investigations.

Last week, Farid lodged a report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station alleging that a few individuals had spiked his drink with drugs prior to his altercation with the police in January.

Farid was arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer and a civilian at the Kota Damansara traffic police station on Jan 11.

He claimed trial to the assault charge on Jan 16.

The actor was then charged on Jan 25 with self administering THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), one of the active components in ganja, into his body.
He also pleaded not guilty to the drug charge.
