PETALING JAYA, Feb 6 — A secondary school student was found five hours after she went missing from her school in Subang Jaya today, following a plea on social media that went viral.
Form One student Kyra Tan from SMK Seafield went missing at school today, and the headmaster alerted her parents of her disappearance at 1pm.
Her father Elwin Tan immediately posted her disappearance on Facebook and garnered at least 3,000 shares from various people including Selangor State Assembly speaker Hannah Yeoh.
By 7pm, Elwin edited his earlier posting, and thanked his friends and family for locating Kyra.
The posting read, “TQ family and friends. Kyra has been found. Slightly tired and drained. tq all for your prayers and support!”
