Najib receives visit from new IGP

 

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak received a courtesy call from new Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun on Tuesday morning and sent out a tweet to commemorate the occasion.

"Congratulations on your appointment as the 11th Inspector-General of Police and selamat bertugas," read the Prime Minister's tweet from his official @najibrazak Twitter account.

Mohamad Fuzi takes over from Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, who retired Monday.

The 58-year-old, who was formerly the Special Branch director, had previously held the Bukit Aman Management director and Acting Deputy IGP posts.
