Food caterer for famous people, Pak Engku dies in Shah Alam

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuzie Catering owner Datuk Raja Rosly Raja Mazlan, better known as Pak Engku, died from diabetes and kidney complications tonight.




Raja Rosly, who was 58, died at 9.10pm at Darul Ehsan Medical Centre in Shah Alam.




His eldest son Raja Muhammad Danial, 21, said his father was admitted to the hospital two days ago and his condition became critical late today.




Raja Danial said his father’s body had been taken back to their house in Shah Alam.




“My father will be buried at Makam DiRaja Shah Alam tomorrow morning,” he said when contacted.




Raja Rosly was survived by his wife Datin Ramziah Samah and three children.




He had provided food catering service to various prominent people including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.




Kuzie Catering has also been the choice of foreign dignitaries and celebrities to cater for their events such as weddings and open houses.




Celebrities such as Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Ning Baizura, Yusry Abdul Halim and Lisa Surihani, Irma Hasmie and Awal Ashaari count among the celebrities who have booked catering services from Raja Ros
