KUALA LUMPUR: Following the success of its inaugural International Wonda Coffee Day (IWCD) last year, Wonda Coffee is celebrating this year’s International Coffee Day (ICD) by offering even more irresistible treats for coffee lovers.
Three new variants, with beans sourced from renowned coffee-rich countries (Brazil, Colombia and Indonesia), will be made available for a limited time during the ICD.
Etika Sdn Bhd marketing vice president Santharuban T. Sundaram said the company wants to offer Malaysians an unparalleled international coffee experience, and expose them to the different premium coffee variants available.
“Hence, coinciding with this year’s ICD celebration, we are introducing the ‘Wondas of the World’, (which are) three limited edition premium variants for coffee enthusiasts to discover and indulge in.
“It is an opportunity for Malaysian coffee lovers to discover different premium, ready-to-drink coffee variants,” he said, adding that currently, Wonda Coffee offers Original, Mocha, Latte, Kopi Tarik and Extra Presso varieties.
Santhubaran added that there will be fantastic deals and promotions at selected outlets throughout the period.
From tomorrow until Sept 1, coffee lovers can buy Wonda’s Colombian Coffee at Shell Select with a ‘Buy Two Free Two’ offer.
“During the same period, coffee lovers can purchase Wonda’s Brazilian Coffee at 7-Eleven outlets for a special promotional price of RM1.20 per can,” he added.
As for Wonda’s Indonesian Mandheling Coffee, Santharuban said it will be sold exclusively at Kedai Mesra Petronas from tomorrow until Aug 31, and will offer three coffee lovers the chance to win prizes of RM5,000 worth of fuel a day.
“A total of RM60,000 worth of free fuel will be given away. All the customers need to do is purchase two cans of Wonda Coffee in a single receipt at Kedai Mesra Petronas and SMS their details to the number provided, and retain the original receipt as proof of purchase.
“Winners will be announced on the Wonda Coffee Malaysia Facebook page,” he said.
Santharuban said Wonda Coffee is also going the extra mile for coffee lovers by offering free coffee refills from the limited edition range at Wonda Coffee’s Dispensing Billboard at the Ampang Park Light Rail Transit (LRT) station.
Other deals by Wonda Coffee include four-can multipacks for just RM4 at hypermarkets and supermarkets, as well as a special two-day IWCD promotion of RM1 per can at 99 Speedmart from Aug 28 to 29.
“Another fantastic deal is our ‘Buy Two Free One’ offer at KK Mart from Aug 29 to Sept 1.
“Furthermore, consumers can also enjoy two cans of Wonda Extra Presso for free with every purchase of any ‘Domino’s 2 Pizza Deals with Extra Cheese’ from RM33 at Domino’s Pizza from tomorrow until Sept 10,” Santharuban added.
To reach out to hardcore cinema buffs, Wonda Coffee will also offer free movie tickets to those who present their TGV Cinemas MovieClub cards; or who sign up for the card upon purchasing a can of Wonda Extra Presso at TGV cinema outlets nationwide, from tomorrow until Aug 31.
“The free movie ticket will then be credited to the individual’s TGV Cinemas MovieClub card.
“Consumers who make their order via the Grab app from tomorrow until Sept 1 will be in for a treat, as Grab will deliver the “Limited Edition Wonda 100 per cent Arabica Brew Range” pack to lucky customers at their doorstep,” he added.
