Malaysian Magicians Break Guinness World Record for making 18 costumes changes in one minute breaking the old record of 16

Mind-Blowing! Malaysian Magicians Broke The Guinness World Records With 18 Costume Changes In One Minute

Looks like Malaysians are doing the country proud by setting more record-breaking moments on the world stage.
Earlier this May, 400 Sarawakian women set the Guinness World Records title for weaving the ‘Longest rug ever’, measuring 1128.272 metres, beating the previous record − a 797.51 m made by the Swedes in 2010.
Now, two Malaysians have done it again – this time using magic!
During the ‘Golden Week’ in China, our very own Avery Chin and Sylvia Lim, took on the stage at Happy Valley theme park in Wuhan, to complete a jaw-dropping 18 changes of 19 costumes in one minute.
Their flawless feat won them the Guinness World Records title for the ‘Most costume change illusions in one minute by an individual’.
Sylvia was seen in a completely different outfit after every ‘reveal’, leading up to an impressive finale of Avery throwing a bag of glitter over her which transformed into a beautiful long white gown.
The best part? There was completely no evidence of the previous outfit! See for yourselves to believe.
Guinness World Records adjudicated Charles Wharton was in attendance at the magical event to ensure that all of the rules were followed, breaking previous record holder, fellow Malaysian magicians Vivas Magic who performed 16 costume changes in one minute at Sunway Pyramid, in Kuala Lumpur, a few weeks ago.
After the video was shared on Guinness World Records' Facebook site on October 2, with now currently 8.6 million views, a proud Avery took to his own page to say: “I'm so proud they are using the word "Malaysian Magician" proved that Malaysian can do it!! After 4 hours published already have 935,000.00 people views and 121,000.00 shares. We are proud to be anak Malaysia. Let's share out this! Malaysia Boleh!!!”.
Malaysian Digest would like to congratulate the duo on their mind-blowing, record-breaking feat, and may they keep up their good work to make our country proud!
