There is a hidden 'Gem' of a place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur, namely the Aqua Restaurant and Bar which overlooks the KLCC Park. Who would have thought a poolside Restaurant & Bar could offer so much.
Two days ago, after a whole day of meetings, I was sitting and sipping my scotch and there came Mr Mandarin Oriental himself, The Assistant F&B Director Mr. Arul.
He recommended that I try the Mee Kari at Aqua for a change.
The Mee Kari that I had which was made of yellow mee, thick spicy curry with quail eggs, huge prawns, fishcakes, vegetables topped with an awesome sambal was simply mind blowingly delicious! I was slurping the noodles up forgetting my etiquette for a moment, considering I was at the 5 Star Mandarin Oriental.
