BACHOK: Four bodies with stab wounds on their torsos were found in a secluded location in Kampung Tanjung Hilir, Bekelam here tonight.
Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail said the bodies were found in some thick bushes with their heads covered with plastic.
He said a villager who caught whiff of a foul stench found the bodies before alerting the police of the gruesome find about 6.30pm.
"The victims appear to have been killed elsewhere and dumped in the area," he said, adding that the bodies may have been left there for at least three days.
Rahman, when met at the scene, said they have yet to establish a motive or their identities but investigations are continuing into the case.
The area where the bodies were found is located about 200m from the nearest road. There is also a paddy field nearby.
