Boy allegedly paid RM3 to keep mum over sex act
KOTA BARU: An eight-year-old boy was allegedly given RM3 by a 13-year-old senior in an Islamic religious school here to keep quiet over two incidences of a sexual nature.
The alleged acts were said to have taken place on Oct 10 and 11 in the school's storeroom.
State CID chief Assistant Comm of Police Mohamad Fakri Che Sulaiman said that the 13-year-old did not sodomise the younger boy, but had committed an act of gross indecency.
He said the victim had undergone a medical check-up at a local hospital and no signs of anal penetration were detected.
However, Mohamad Fakri said the suspect admitted committing gross indecency in the storeroom of the school on two occasions.
"The suspect was arrested on Monday and police have obtained a remand order from the Bachok magistrate's court, He has been remanded for four days to facilitate investigations and the case had been classified under Section 377E of the Penal Code for inciting a child to commit an act of gross indecency," he said.
