Duterte returns to Davao City as President
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte returned to his hometown, Davao City, a day after his inauguration.
Boarding a private plane, ABS-CBN reported the president, with common-law wife Cielito ‘Honeylet’ AvanceƱa and daughter Veronica, flew back to Davao, Friday evening.
Reports said PRRD’s weekly schedule is Monday to Thursday in Manila; Friday to Sunday in Davao.
Prior departure, the president attended the turn over of command to Philippine National Police chief Ronald ‘Bato’ dela rosa and first officially met vice president Leni Robredo as heads of the country at the turn over of Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff Ricardo Visaya.
