KUALA LUMPUR: A suspected Islamic State (IS) militant was detained in Ampang on Friday.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) said the man was arrested by Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division personnel at the Jelatek LRT station.
“We also seized a weapons and IS-related documents from the suspect,” Khalid tweeted on Saturday.
