Najib successfully undergoes minor surgery at HKL
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic) has successfully undergone minor surgery to remove a small benign growth on his right hand.
Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) in a statement said Najib had had an outpatient procedure performed on Saturday and that the Prime Minister had returned home to rest. - Bernama
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak says he is recovering well from a minor surgery.
The Prime Minister had a small benign growth removed on his right at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) Saturday.
Najib thanked Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for wishing him speedy recovery.
He tweeted Sunday: "I'm recovering well, thank you for the kind thoughts. See you soon."
Earlier, in his tweet, Lee wished Najib a speedy recovery and was glad to hear that the procedure was successful.
In a statement, HKL said Najib underwent the operation as an outpatient, and had returned home. – Bernama
