Tired of the usual fare at roadside stalls?
Those wanting something different from burgers, rojak, cendol or lok-lok should look out for a new type of mobile food business.
Food trucks have become increasingly popular in the last few years as they offer more exotic dishes.
Many of these food trucks change their location every day and customers will keep themselves updated on where they are at any given time or day through social media.
1. Oh My fruit Juice (omFJ)
Operating from early in the morning up until lunch hour, omFJ serves up tasty and healthy mixed fruit juices for the health-conscious. The bright pink truck normally operates around the Damansara Heights area but mostly caters to the menara millenium office crowd.

Dr Mak Rony grilled burgers is not your average roadside burger vendor. These takeaway burgers are closer to gourmet burgers and the juicy meat patties certainly warrant a try. Though the truck has been known to operate in many different areas, the best place to catch them currently is along Jalan Dungun.

Sporting an italian mafia theme, pasta specialists la Famiglia have undoubtedly been gaining traction over the past year. Their inexpensive dishes make them a popular choice. They are commonly located beside the Dr mak rony truck along Jalan Dungun in the daytime and sometimes in SS15 Subang Jaya at night.

SpagMe serves up a large variety of western-style breakfast and fried spaghetti. They move about constantly, commonly operating between Pusat bandar Damansara and Jalan Dungun, as well as at the school at Jaya one, Petaling Jaya on some weekends.

Many of us cannot start our day without a cup of coffee and The Royal Post caters for those who need a caffeine fix. They serve a small selection of sandwiches as well as coffee at office complexes around Kuala Lumpur, most commonly Menara Millenium and Plaza OSK along Jalan Ampang.

Cowboys Food Truck is one of the newcomers on this list with their Texas-inspired western barbeque
dishes. Flame-grilled chicken wings are their speciality and they rotate their menu items daily. They
currently cater to the offices at the KLIa 2 for lunch, but can also be found at SS15 at night and Jaya One on the weekends.

Wheeloaf is a one-of-a-kind mobile bakery that specialises in panini and grilled cheese sandwiches. Their gourmet sandwiches are baked fresh daily and they are often seen at various events. Usually, they are sighted at Menara Millenium in the day and Bangsar at night, but they do post location updates on their social media pages daily.

Based mainly outside the PV16 Condominium in Danau Kota, Setapak, Barbarittos are known largely for their burrito wraps and nachos among their selection of mixed western dishes. while they operate daily in Setapak, they also take on many catering jobs at other locations on the weekends.
