KLIA2 to be ready on time

PETALING JAYA - UEM Construction Sdn Bhd and Bina Puri Sdn Bhd, the main contractors of the new low-cost terminal KLIA2, have reaffirmed their commitment to complete works on the project within the stipulated deadline of Jan 31, 2014.
In a joint statement, UEM Builders Bhd managing director Mohd Razin Ghazali said the joint-venture (JV) partners were "working rigorously" to ensure the physical completion of the work package and obtain the certificate of completion and compliance by Jan 31, 2014.
UEM Builders is the parent company of UEM Construction.
He said the JV was doing so with the cooperation from various stakeholders, namely Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, various consultants and the authorities.
