Police shoot dead four robbers in Ampang
KUALA LUMPUR: Four robbers were shot dead by police in a shoot out when the raided an apartment in Jalan Ampang Putra at 12.20pm on Friday.
Police stormed into the apartment, surprising the robbers who opened fire.
City police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Mohmad Salleh said police had been tracking the robbers after they robbed a VIP's house in Bukit Antarabangsa around 3.30am Friday.
It is believed that the robbers, who usually target VIP houses, may have been behind the recent robbery of the house belonging to Youth Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
