VATICAN CITY: Pope Francis, who is being treated for pneumonia, has had a quiet night after suffering an asthma attack, the Holy See news service reported on Sunday, Sputnik/RIA Novosti reported.
"The night passed peacefully, the Pope rested well," the Holy See said in a statement.
The day before, Pope Francis had respiratory problems and received oxygen and blood transfusions. The Holy See said the Catholic church leader's condition was still critical, but remained aware.
