Tuchel is officially the new coach of England

FORMER Chelsea and Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel was officially appointed on Wednesday as England's new manager on an 18-month contract.
The development was shared by the Football Association (FA) who said the 51-year-old coach would start work on 1 January 2025.
The coach from Germany took over the hot seat from Gareth Southgate who resigned after The Three Lions lost in the Euro 2024 final.
Excited about the new position, Tuchel expressed his pride and described it as a great honor to coach one of the best teams in the world.
"I am very proud to be given the honor of leading the England team.
"I have long felt a personal connection with football in this country. It has given me some incredible moments.
"Having the opportunity to manage England is a huge privilege and the opportunity to work with this special and talented group of players is very exciting," he said.
It is reported that Tuchel, who will receive a salary of approximately 5 million pounds (RM27,992,379.50) per year, will be assisted by Anthony Barry.
In the meantime, FA CEO Mark Bullingham explained why they chose to work with Tuchel.
"We are excited to be with Thomas (Tuchel), one of the best coaches in the world and Anthony (Barry) who is one of the best English coaches," he said.
Tuchel, who has been unemployed since leaving Bayern at the end of last season, became the third foreign manager of the England squad after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
He won league titles with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Bayern as well as the German Cup with Dortmund, but his greatest success came when he managed Chelsea.
Tuchel led the Blues to the Champions League title just months after taking over in 2021 and won the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with the London club.
He was sacked in September 2022 by Chelsea's new ownership group and six months later, he was appointed Bayern manager and led the club to an 11th consecutive Bundesliga title.
However, he also witnessed the decline of Bayern's dominance in German football as they ended last season without any trophies, the first time in 12 years.
