Bersatu's Datuk Razali Idris charged of incitement involving statements against MACC





Ketua Penerangan BERSATU, Datuk Razali Idris (empat kanan) di Kompleks Mahkamah Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur pagiBersatu's head of information, Datuk Razali Idris, was charged in the Sessions Court here today on charges of incitement involving statements against the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the conviction of four charges against Muar Member of Parliament, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.




Razali, 57, who is also the Head of Bersatu Terengganu pleaded not guilty as soon as the charge was brought before Judge, N Priscilla Hemamalini.




"I plead not guilty and am willing to go to trial," he said.




According to the charges, Razali was found to have uttered inflammatory words at Padang Astaka Chukai, Kemaman, Terengganu, at 9.30pm to 11.30pm, last November 10.




Prosecution in accordance with Paragraph 4(1) (b) of the Sedition Act 1948 (Act 15) which can be punished under Subsection 4(1) of the same act which provides for a fine of not more than RM5,000 or a maximum imprisonment of three years or both if convicted
