The Supreme Court after Imran's trial strongly criticized the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for the arrest.
The arrest of Imran Khan by the country's authorities was deemed illegal and the Supreme Court also ordered the former Prime Minister of Pakistan to be released.

The court also explained that Imran's presence at the Islamabad High Court was to undergo the trial of the case against him.
Accordingly, the Supreme Court ordered Imran to undergo a trial at the Islamabad High Court and follow whatever the court decides.
Earlier, protests took place in several areas of Pakistan following the arrest of the former Pakistani cricket legend.
The PTI party previously claimed that Imran's arrest was politically motivated.
At least 10 were killed while 2,000 others were arrested following the protests in Pakistan.
