10 Pahang executive council members, were sworn by the Pahang Regent Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah at Istana Abu Bakar
The Pahang government is a coalition between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH), the executive council has eight members from BN and two from PH.
The swearing in ceremony for the EXCO ranks was held four days after Wan Rosdy was sworn in as Chief Minister.
Preceding the custom of taking the oath was Datuk Seri Ir Mohd Soffi Abd Razak (BN-Benta) followed by Datuk Seri Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad (BN-Kerdau) and Datuk Mohammad Fakhruddin Mohd Arif (BN-Bebar) each of whom had held the EXCO office before this.
Followed by five ADUN BN, namely new faces Ir Razali Kassim (Muadzam Shah), Datuk Seri Johari Harun (Pelangai), Datuk Mohamad Nizar Mohd Najib (Peramu Jaya), Datuk Sabariah Saidan (Guai) and Fadzli Mohd Kamal (Dong).
Also listed were two representatives of the combined parties in the PH, namely Sim Chong Siang (PKR-Teruntum) and Leong Yu Man (DAP-Triang).
All of them then signed the oath in the presence of Wan Rosdy and Tengku Muhammad Iskandar.
Also present to witness the ceremony of the inauguration were the Executive Board of PH Pahang who was also the Chief Minister of Selangor, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari with his wife, Datin Seri Masdiana Mohamad.
On November 28, Wan Rosdy, who is also ADUN Jelai, once again took the oath of office as the Menteri Besar of Pahang
With the inauguration of Wan Rosdy as Menteri Besar , BN and PH joined to form the State Government of Pahang after obtaining the majority of 24 DUN seats.
At PRU15, BN won 16 seats out of 42 seats at DUN Pahang and PH won eight seats, while Perikatan Nasional (PN) also won 17 seats.
