Mindef 'top gun' Mat Sabu takes to the skies in fighter jet

PETALING JAYA: Defence Minister Mohammad Sabu had his very own "Top Gun" moment as he took to the skies in a fighter jet for the first time.
In a series of tweets, the Royal Malaysian Air Force shared photos of Mohammad decked out in a flight suit posing next to a Sukhoi Su30-MKM (M52-14) fighter.
Mohammad even had his call sign "Abg Mat" painted on the plane.
"Congratulations YB @MSabu_Official on his first flight in the Royal Malaysian Air Force's jet this evening," tweeted the Royal Malaysian Air Force on Saturday.
Mohammad also shared some photos of him strapped into the fighter jet seat and photos of him standing next to the aircraft.
