JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has embarked on his annual Kembara Mahkota Johor (KMJ) 2017.

Over the next four days, Sultan Ibrahim and his family will travel over 800km to visit 10 districts in the state.
The 20th edition of KMJ was flagged off at about 8am at Dataran Bandaraya here.
Joining the Sultan on the expedition are Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim as well as his wife Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, their daughter, Tunku Khalsom Aminah Sofiah and other members of the royal family.
For the first time in KMJ's history, Sultan Ibrahim and the family are travelling in several Morgan three-wheeler vintage cars.
The car was first designed in 1909 by Morgan Motor Company Ltd in the United Kingdom.
KMJ has become one of the state’s most iconic events since it was introduced 16 years ago.
From Dataran Bandaraya, Sultan Ibrahim and his family will travel to Kota Tinggi and Mersing.
On the second day, they will cover Mersing and Kluang followed by Batu Pahat, Segamat, Tangkak and Muar on the third day.
The expedition will end on Sept 12 at Hutan Bandar Bandar Putra in Kulai
